Water

Welcome to the Primal Pre-Made Nutrition Blog!

Each week we will offer a new health tip. These tips are great for anyone looking to lose weight, live a healthier life or just to refresh knowledge and reinforce the habits you already have!

What to do with each weekly tip? We recommend focusing specifically on each tip for 7 days until the next tip is posted. The goal is to create new healthy habits or to reinforce habits you may be slacking on. With each new week you will continue to build on these habits in order to create a new, healthier you!

So, for example...

This weeks tip (and probably one you've heard a million times before) is to drink 64-100oz of water a day. So, for the next 7 days, I want you focus on getting all your water in! (Spoiler alert) Next weeks tip will be to get 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Come next week, I want you to keep up your water intake but now add to that and make sure you're getting all your ZZZ's too!

Let's get started!

Week 1 Tip: Drink 64 - 100 ounces of water per day.

How? Get started first thing in the morning with an 8 ounce glass. Invest in a reusable water bottle and keep track of refills - I really love my 32oz Nalgene jugs, two a day! Get yourself a 64 oz. (or larger) jug and pour from it until it's gone.

But, water is boring!

Spice it up! Add some lemon and lime. Fill your favorite jug the night before and add some fruit then let it sit in the fridge overnight to infuse! Try sparkling water.

But, I love soda!

I know, I did too. Try sparkling water with lemon, lime, and an orange slice or, infuse over night with strawberry and pineapple. Try having a kombucha, I really like GT's strawberry and grape (check your labels for sugar content - GT's is usually the lowest). Not only will kombucha give you that fizz and a little of that sweet, but it will also provide you with wonderful probiotics!

Ok, there's your tip. Now take the next 7 days and conquer it! We'll see you back next week with your next tip!

Happy Drinking!

Dianne
